The ideal candidate has strong design and front-end development skills along with communication and time management skills. The Senior Web Designer will be responsible for executing design work and websites from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

– Work on various design projects from concept to implementation

– Understand project needs and determine feasibility of the designs provided

– Communicate with clients to gather web development requirements and effectively manage deliverables

– Translate requirements and mock-ups into responsive, architecturally sound HTML, CSS and JavaScript code

– Develop UI mockups and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas

– Create efficient and scalable web interfaces and identify issues with the interface, recommend and implement solutions that improve the design

– Stay up-to-date with web design trends and technologies

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

– Passion for good user experience and design

– Strong grasp of design fundamentals: color, typography, spatial reasoning, hierarchy

– Solid understanding of web and mobile user behavior

– 2 plus years of experience with website design

– Proficient with Adobe Suite Products and Sketch

– Advanced HTML5 and CSS skills

– Experience working with CMS’ such as WordPress, Divi, Magento, WooCommerce etc.

– Understanding of optimizing user experiences for increased conversion

– A high awareness of industry trends and design patterns

– Experience creating mockups for mobile, desktop, and responsive web pages

– Possess skills on infrastructure side with server setup and web hosting

– The candidate needs to know about various plug-ins and integrations with WordPress CMS and must know how to work with APIs, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery and HTML
